The guidelines for creating content for Inside Hitachi and Yammer are as follows.
Editorial Policy
Delivery of corporate information: Provide detailed corporate information to a wider audience, as earlier as possible.
Proper Content
- Information that is worth being shared by Global Corporate Brand & Communications Division of Hitachi Headquarters and lets Hitachi employees learn about Hitachi’s management policies.
- Content that makes employees feel proud of Social Innovation business and build transformation, growth, and sustainability mindsets.
- Content that improves employee engagement.
- Content that helps employees to know more about the system and rules offered by Hitachi.
- Content that lets employees learn about business activities of other divisions as well as non-business activities carried out by Hitachi.
- Content that is related to the six categories of “Management,” “Digital,” “Environment,” “Global,” “Diversity & Inclusion,” and “Employee Spotlight.”
- Engaging content which is related to the activities of employees at overseas Group companies.
- Content that does not meet any of the above requirements needs to be examined and approved by Global Corporate Brand & Communications Division.
When you wish to share your content on Inside Hitachi or Yammer
- If you want to share your content created at either BU, Group company, or Hitachi’s divisions, you first need to ask for permission to access the file on SharePoint site, named Inside Hitachi & Yammer Content Planning Sheet. Then, fill in your contents title or send an email to Corporate Brand Department (internal.communication.uf@hitachi.com)to explain your content idea.
- In principle, the team that wants to share content needs to prepare both English and Japanese text.
- We set recommended character/word count for the posts on Inside Hitachi: 800 characters for Japanese text and 500 words for English text. Title length for a Japanese post is 25-30 characters and 15-20 words for an English post. Please attach a summary at the top (80 characters in Japanese and 30 words in English) of the content.
- Recommended character/word count for Yammer content is 200 characters for Japanese text and 100 words for English text. Please attach banner image data. Recommended banner image size is 1280 pixels wide by 720 high.
- You need to send your content three weeks before the preferred upload date when sharing it on Inside Hitachi and two weeks before when sharing it on Yammer. In some cases, we can post your content earlier, so please let us know when you want to share your information soon.
- The videos to be shared on the website for Hitachi Group employees are examined and approved by Global Corporate Brand & Communications Division.
